Adoption Process

At Riverstone Rattery we care about our rats deeply and want our rats to go to amazing forever homes. To ensure this, we have an adoption application and a contract to sign at pickup. If your application is accepted, you will be put on the wait list. If you're looking for specific varieties, there is a question on the application where you can let us know.

Rats will not be up for reservation until 6 weeks old and they will be ready to leave to their homes at 8 weeks old. This is to ensure that they have proper temperament, health and social skills. We prefer Venmo and PayPal but will accept cash.

We are a closed rattery, meaning we do not allow adopters to come inside our rattery for the safety and health of our rats. Once accepted, I meet my adopters at a local park, It's required that adopters bring their own carrier.
